I have a candidate going through our hiring process in Germany and I need their employment history independently confirmed before we move forward. Your task is to contact the relevant employers, obtain written or verbal confirmation of the person’s past positions, and compile a concise report that I can place in the candidate’s file.
I will supply the candidate’s signed consent form, résumé details, and all contact information I currently hold. From you I expect:
• Direct confirmation from each employer you reach (phone, email, or official HR letter)
• A clear, timestamped report in English outlining the findings, any discrepancies, and the source of each piece of information
Experience with German privacy regulations (GDPR) and the ability to converse in German with HR departments is essential. Please let me know your typical turnaround time and how you prefer to structure milestones for this kind of background check.
