Web-based Simple Document Scanner with OpenCV
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a talented developer to create a simple, yet effective, document scanner web application using OpenCV.
- Use OpenCV
- Must work on Chrome (and Safari) on mobile and desktop
- Take picture using device camera
- Save image as *.png and *.pdf
- Allow user to crop image before saving file (adjust 4 corners independently, adjust any one side in perpendicular direction while maintaining angle of the border)
- If multiple cameras detected, allow user to choose
- No detection of paper
Phase 1
- Choose camera
- save image file as png or pdf, depending on user choice
- save to user device
Phase 2
- Allow user to crop image before saving file
- Rotate image so top border is horizontal
If you do this well, we may launch another project to add automated paper detection for you.
