Simple Site Which Can Parse a Shopify Store (For a Single Value) And Present It
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Building a public tool which can show live stock quantity of a specific third party Shopify store.
User enters a product URL from this store. Site in the backend parses the page for a single value (the stock quantity). And returns it to the user on the frontend. That's it.
Dev will need to:
-review the html/json to find the stock quantity value (it exists, other tools are pulling it for this webstore)
-create a backend mechanism to parse as quickly/efficiently as possible, while also setting an appropriate rate limit
-create a very simple frontend to interact with the backend mechanism
and finish by putting it on a provided server
It's a very simple mini project that should finish in a few days, but if you are good and affordable, I will hire you again to expand the site.
If there exists better methods (less resource intensive and more efficient) to do any of the above, I expect you to know and tell me how we'll be doing it. (example: making direct call requests to find the value instead of parsing the page every time)
I highly prefer that you are proficient in English so we can communicate very clearly without repeating, clarifying, and missing things.
