Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced React Native developer to create a mobile app that runs on iOS and Android. The app will generate food recipes and calculate estimated calories based on a static dataset. It must be fully functional offline, with no need for internet connectivity or backend servers.
Key Features:
Platform: Develop a React Native app compatible with both iOS and Android.
Screens:
Main Screen:
A button to generate a new food recipe for today.
A small upload button
Displays the last four days of generated recipes. ( 2x2 tile )
Recipe Screen (On-click of a button from main screen or a recipe tile) :
Suggests a recipe with an image, list of ingredients, estimated calorie count, and cooking method.
Upload Screen (On-click of upload button on the main screen):
Functionality to upload a new food and calorie dataset in a predefined format. This is for internal use and not visible to standard users.
Data Handling:
All data, including recipes and calorie counts, will be stored locally on the device.
The data set is static without a backend server or internet connection.
Data Set:
A predefined dataset for food recipes and calories will be provided.
Requirements:
Proven experience in building React Native applications for both iOS and Android.
Strong understanding of local data storage in mobile apps.
Ability to create a clean and intuitive user interface with three main screens.
Experience with file upload functionalities in React Native.
Attention to detail to ensure the app functions seamlessly offline.
Deliverables:
A fully functional React Native app that meets the above requirements.
Well-documented code and instructions on how to update the food and calorie dataset.
