Change src of video when I click a button

I have an url in text format that is loaded onto my web page.
When I click on a button I want to change the video src to this url so that it autoplays the video. If the video won't autoplay after clicking on the button you may need to refresh the video or web page but it needs to remember the button you clicked on and the ID of the url.
