E-Commerce Website Development & Graphic Design (Square Retail Integration + Manual Dropship Workflow)
Description:
I am a retail store owner located in Daytona Beach, FL, seeking a highly skilled freelance web developer and graphic designer to build a professional, user-friendly e-commerce website. The goal is to extend my physical store's reach by creating an online shopping platform that reflects the store’s style and allows for both in-store and online sales.
This project will require syncing my Square Retail POS system with the website to manage in-store inventory, as well as setting up a system to offer online-only products through a manual dropshipping workflow. These online-only products will not be tied to in-store inventory; instead, I’ll personally purchase them from a local distributor when ordered.
Scope of Work:
1. E-Commerce Website Build
Develop an e-commerce site using Shopify, WooCommerce, or another reliable platform (open to recommendations).
Ensure site is responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for performance and SEO.
2. Square Retail POS Integration
Sync live inventory from my Square Retail system to the website.
Ensure real-time updates of product availability based on in-store purchases and stock levels.
3. Manual Dropshipping Workflow Setup
Create the ability to list online-only products that are fulfilled manually through a local distributor.
These products should be clearly identified as online exclusive and not part of in-store stock.
Configure the back-end for easy order tracking and management.
4. Order Fulfillment Features
Enable both shipping and in-store pickup options at checkout.
Customize the checkout flow to make it user-friendly for local customers.
5. Custom Graphic Design
Design professional homepage banners, promotional visuals, and branded graphics aligned with a streetwear/urban retail aesthetic.
Possibly assist with logo polish or visual refinements.
6. Informational Pages
About the store (our story, mission)
Store location, hours, and contact info
FAQs, return policy, and customer service details
7. Optional Add-ons (if within budget):
Integration with email marketing platforms (like Mailchimp or Klaviyo)
Social media feed integration
Blog or news section for updates and promotions
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
Experience integrating Square Retail with e-commerce platforms
Understanding of manual dropshipping workflows (especially non-automated local fulfillment methods)
Strong skills in graphic design and layout aesthetics
Clear communication skills and ability to offer strategic recommendations
Portfolio of e-commerce sites (especially in retail, fashion, or streetwear)
