E-commerce Feature Development
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m enhancing my online store and need a developer who can add a new, user-facing feature to our existing e-commerce platform. Once we agree on the exact functionality, you’ll be responsible for:
• Scoping the feature and suggesting the most suitable tech approach that fits smoothly into our current stack.
• Building clean, well-commented code and integrating it end-to-end—from front-end interface through to any back-end logic and database updates.
• Ensuring the update works flawlessly across desktop and mobile, preserves site speed, and follows best practices for security and PCI-compliant payment flows.
• Testing thoroughly (unit and browser testing) and fixing any bugs you discover during implementation.
• Delivering concise setup notes and user documentation so my in-house team can maintain the new feature going forward.
Experience with common e-commerce frameworks (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom Node/PHP stack) will be highly valuable. If you’re confident you can roll out an elegant, reliable solution that keeps customers buying without interruption, I’d like to hear how you would tackle this.
