Job Description:
I am seeking an experienced WordPress developer to help build an MVP for a service-based platform that connects musicians with customers for live event bookings. The platform will include features such as user accounts, profiles, a booking and availability system, and payment integration. Many of the required features can be implemented using existing plugins.
Scope of Work:
1. User Accounts:
• Set up three user roles: Musician, Customer, and Venue/Partner
• Musicians should have profiles with details such as instruments, genres, performance samples, and an availability calendar.
• Customers and Venue/Partner should have accounts to browse, book, and manage bookings. Customer and venue/partner profiles should not be visible or appear in searches.
2. Booking System:
• Implement a custom booking feature using a WordPress plugin (e.g., Amelia, Bookly, or similar).
• Allow customers to build custom ensembles by selecting multiple musicians.
• Include calendar syncing and booking notifications for both parties.
3. Payments & Subscriptions:
• Integrate PayPal for payments and installment plans.
• Implement subscription options for musicians, customers, and venue/partner (e.g., WooCommerce Subscriptions).
4. Profile Verification:
• Add functionality for manual verification of musician profiles.
5. Content Pages & Basic Design:
• Assist in customizing a WordPress theme.
• Optimize page layout for Home, About Us, FAQ, and Terms & Conditions pages.
• Ensure responsive design and user-friendly navigation.
6. Security & Performance:
• Set up SSL (provided by Bluehost).
• Ensure data privacy and secure transactions.
• Optimize for performance and loading speed.
7. Testing & Launch Support:
• Perform end-to-end testing for booking flows, payments, and user accounts.
• Provide post-launch support for bug fixes (as needed).
Skills Required:
• Strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and relevant plugins.
