Website (shopify) redesign & constant webmaster
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm seeking 2 things:
Someone to update my site (currently on shopify).
A webmaster (preferably the same person) to update my site constantly to be the best it can be.

What I Want from My Site
My site doesn't HAVE to be on shopify, but that's what I use now, so if it's easier to update my shopify with the below things I want, that's fine. If it should be on another host, etc, that's fine. But I want to know all costs involved.
I'd like the top browser to read www.bearmanormedia.com rather than how it looks now: https://bearmanor-digital.myshopify.com/
I really like the look and functuality of https://www.brash-books.com/ I'm not looking to copy it, but that's a sample site for books that does things I like. If you have other sample book sites that are impressive, I'd like to see them before we decide on a theme.
I don't want to sell books directly to customers. I want to have affiliate links to amazon, bn.com, etc. like Brash has so that customers click on our books and it takes you to amazon, etc. and I get an affiliate sale for that. Affiliate sales are not my #1 concern, but as long as I have to use amazon, etc. to sell my books, I might as well get affiliate money for it.
But I want my authors and bookstores to be able to order books for themselves via a hidden shopping cart with a discount code so that their credit card is charged, then I'll place the order with my printer. But I don't want the shopping cart to be visible on my site so that Everyone can order.
I want it to be stylish and functional. I'd like the ability to have videos and banners and anything that looks good and snazzy on particular book pages if I'm given videos, etc. to use by my authors.
I know all of these will take time to implement. If my current site can be used as a template or raw material to take all the information to make the new site or update the site I have, it would be ideal if my current site can remain an operation until the site you are doing is ready. In other words, I would rather not put out a site that is half finished, but would like to unveil a nearly complete new site, while still remaining operational for what I have now.
Assure me that my amazon affiliate program won't be canceled from anything we do. I've been canceled twice for not doing something (amazon isn't good on explaining why!), and I want everything to be Clear and Clean so they have no reason to cancel my program. It would take a Long time to redo the 1000s of affiliate links with a new affiliate number!
I can pay up to $1000 for a redesign. Please don't post a bid if you're asking more.
What I Want from a Webmaster
I'd like a webmaster because I sell books which I publish and would like to be able to send reviews, news, new book page info to someone to keep the site updated for me and looking good. But if you go on vacation or get sick or disappear, I'd like specific instructions on what to do at some point so that my assistant or I can make sure normal business runs smoothly.
The affiliate links that need to be put on my site will be a major activity too. bn.com, indiebound.com and other links should ideally be placed alongside amazon (if there's no amazon rule against it), to give customers a Choice of where they get books.
I also want to be able to print T-shirts and mugs and similar print on demand items on some site like Zazzle, or anything that will fully integrate with my site so that when an order comes in, it will be printed and distributed completely by the site it’s ordered from. This can be like an affiliate link, so that if someone clicks on a shirt on my site, it takes them to the order page on the print on demand site that they can order from. So that any “where’s my order“ email will be directed at the site they ordered from rather than me. I don't want to fulfill orders myself or have to order from a company.
Please be good at backlinks and all the computer stuff I don't know that will make google, etc. love my site. If you can think up new ways to get the site seen better, increase traffic, and make it look and work better every day and every week, that would be GREAT.
I can pay $100 a week or $400 a month for a webmaster (in addition to the one-time redesign fee above), and we can continue for a year if both of us are happy. If it works well, perhaps a raise on the 2nd year.
It doesn't matter where you're located, but Please respond often to my emails and don't hire out too much, so that I know it's you doing the work.
Please bid based on what I'm telling you rather than an auto-response you send everyone. :)
Ideally, it would be nice if you know old American films, but it's not necessary. What I admire is a hard worker, someone who enjoys his/her work and really wants to do well!
