Website Login and Registration with Subscriptions
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
We are Looking for someone who can improve the login/registration workflows of our in development website.
Currently our process works like the following:
Registration:
User clicks register -> registration page is displayed -> user enters username and password. The user selects what plan (Free, Basic, Premium).
If they select Free, the user is registered.
If they select Basic or Premium, the user then has to selected payment frequency (monthly or yearly) and then currently enters paypal details.
Login:
User enters username and password, on success redirects to appropriate landing page
Forgot Password:
No implementation
Change Plan:
No implementation
Unsubscribe:
No implementation
Currently this has been implemented in a very basic way, where the username/password is password through an angular ts front end to an angular service and then to our API which hashes and salt the password before saving both into our database.
What we are looking for is to enhance/improve/replace the registration/payments/login/forget password/change plan/unsubscribe mechism on our site to make it a much smoother better experience for users. We are open to the use of a third party login.
The following will detail what we would like for each element:
Registration:
User clicks on Register from Home page and is taken to the Registration page.
The Registration page will need to capture:
Name
Email
Username
Password
Confirm Password
User Plan -> Free, Basic, Premium
If Basic or Premium -> Yearly or Monthly frequency and will want to allow secure PayPal or Credit Card payments
Login:
User clicks on Login from the Home page and is taken to the Login page.
User enters username and password and clicks login
- on successful login user is redirect to appropriate landing page depending on their user subscription
- on unsucsessful login attempt user is told there login was unsuccessful
Forgot Password:
Would like a forgot password option on the Login page with a mechanism for the user to reset their password.
We would like suggestions on how and estimates for implementing the Registration, Login and Forgot Password features.
Further to this, we would like to have the following functions scoped out as well:
Change Password:
On the user profile, we want users to be able to update their password.
Change Plan:
Allow the user to change their plan - payment and subscription details get updated correctly.
Unsubscribe:
Allow the user to cancel their subscription. Tis will ensure they do not get charge at the end of the current billing cycle and set their account to a free acount.
We would like suggestions on how and estimates for implementing the Change Password, Change Plan and Unsubscribe functions.
The work to be performed will be:
- Estimates and suggestions of how to perform the work.
- Implementing the chosen solution.
- Styling and HTML display of the features.
