Website Development Project Leader - Wordpress based
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
We are seeking an experienced project lead for a 4-week website creation project, with an expected workload of 6-8 hours per week. The goal is to ensure the site meets its requirements and goes live on time. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, an understanding of web development processes, and the ability to keep all relevant parties focused and on track. Familiarity with WordPress, including themes and plugins, is essential.
Responsibilities:
Develop a project plan and timeline.
Coordinate with web designers, developers, content creators, and stakeholders.
Ensure team members understand their roles.
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
Facilitate regular team updates.
Resolve issues and conflicts.
Ensure the website meets quality standards.
Work closely with two management team members.
Assist in selecting and guiding service providers.
Coordinate internal resources for content, approvals, and requirements.
Note: This role does not involve designing or implementing the website.
Requirements:
Proven experience in project management, particularly in web development.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a diverse and remote team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with WordPress, themes, and plugins.
