Web Page Analysis and Optimization regarding UX and barriere-free usage
Budget: €10,000 – €20,000 EUR
The university is implementing a new campus management system. Part of the project is to ensure the best possible/optimal user experience and largely barrier-free optimized use of the campus management system, especially the part related to students’ day-by-day usage and the teaching-related use.
For this purpose, an analysis of the existing components of the web-pages of the system is to be carried out with support of external consultancy. The software developer and the university will contribute necessary details as well as system access. Part of the work is to identify the potential for optimizations in terms of design/UX and especially barrier-free usage. A short documentation has to be created.
Work contents of the external consulting are:
- Analysis of the existing web pages with regard to improvement concerning UX
- special consideration of the requirements of barrier-free use
- Analysis of the code for page generation with regard to the optimization of barrier-free use
- documentation of deficiencies and optimizations
- Suggestions for redesign and implementation
- Creation of two design and code optimized proposals / dummies
