Vimeo Video Watch Completion Requirement
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need a solution that ensures users watch an entire embedded Vimeo video on my webpage before they can click the NEXT button. The button leads to a multiple-choice section about the video.
Background:
- The page was initially set to trigger the NEXT button after a set time on the page or after a certain number of seconds watched.
- While this worked for the majority of users, about 1% still managed to skip the video and it didn't work consistently across platforms.
The code currently used is:
$html .= generateInputGroup('Minimum time required to spend on this page (seconds)', 'course['.$pageNum.'][page_time]', ((isset($page_time))?$page_time:0), 'page_time', 'fa-clock-o');
Requirements:
- The solution must be compatible with both desktop and mobile devices.
- A solution using Vimeo’s API or a custom script is acceptable.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Vimeo's API
- Experienced in creating cross-platform compatible web solutions
- Strong background in video embedding and web programming
