Project Description
We are an established, premium e-commerce brand and gift store. We have recently completed a platform migration from Squarespace to Shopify, but the project requires urgent finalization by an experienced Shopify expert.
We need a dedicated freelancer to step in immediately to complete the final setup, testing, and launch preparation. The goal is a seamless, high-quality site that is ready to scale by 12/5 at 12pm.
Required Deliverables & Tasks (Scope of Work)
The successful candidate will need to perform, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
Final Design QA & Polish: Review the entire theme (likely Dawn or a custom theme) to ensure pixel-perfect fidelity across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Navigation & Content Audit: Finalize and verify all menu links, footer content, and page redirects, specifically ensuring any old Squarespace URLs are correctly redirected to the new Shopify structure.
Product and Collection Setup: Audit the existing product database for consistency. Ensure product variants, pricing (including custom pricing models if implemented), and images are correctly mapped and displayed.
App Integration & Configuration:
Verify the setup and proper functionality of all third-party apps (e.g., email marketing, reviews, subscription if applicable).
Test the Printify integration to ensure all products are correctly linked for fulfillment.
Checkout & Payment Testing: Conduct full testing of the checkout process, including tax, shipping calculations, and payment gateway functionality (Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.).
Domain & Launch Verification: Finalize the custom domain connection (DNS settings, SSL certificate) and prepare the site for immediate launch.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven Shopify Expert: Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating the successful launch and configuration of Shopify stores.
Migration Experience: Experience handling data and URL redirects from Squarespace or other platforms is a major asset.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design consistency and code quality.
Availability: Must be able to start immediately and dedicate significant time to ensure completion within the next 1 days.
