Shopify Integration & UX Overhaul

I’m ready to migrate our 300-plus product catalogue (spread across six key categories) into Shopify and need an expert who can handle the build from end to end. The primary objective is a friction-free product showcase, so every decision—from data structure to micro-interactions—must make it effortless for shoppers to find, sort.

Here’s the landscape you’ll step into: our design and marketing teams have the brand language and creative assets locked; what we lack is the development horsepower to turn those visuals into a pixel-perfect, conversion-focused storefront. You’ll collaborate directly with those teams during requirements gathering, UAT rounds, and final deployment while keeping an eye on performance and cross-browser/mobile accessibility.

Core tasks you’ll own
• Spin up and configure Shopify so the full catalogue is cleanly imported and organized.
• Build an intuitive filtering & sorting system that works across all six categories without slowing the site.
• Refine the navigation menu—this is our top aesthetic priority—to guide users quickly to the right products.
• Apply SEO best practices during theme development to give every product page a solid technical foundation.
• Custom-code any additional features in HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, and CSS, integrating third-party APIs when needed.
