Shopify Developer with Expertise in Subscription API
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am looking for a Shopify developer with expertise in building a bundle page with subscription API and to integrate recurring payments for my products/services. I do not have an existing Shopify theme or app, so I need recommendations from the developer. The level of customization required for the subscription API integration is advanced, with some custom features needed. Please check the scope of work below:
1. Page Setup and Navigation Menu
Set up a new bundle page with a design closer to the existing website style.
Create a sub-navigation menu with categories: Styling, Shampoo, Conditioner, Blond, and Bundles.
Configure the sub-navigation to dynamically display products within the selected category.
2. Cart Carousel
Implement a Cart Carousel to display the customer's chosen items with the capacity to show up to 15 items.
Enable adding and removing of products in the Cart Carousel.
3. Product Selection
Configure the website to allow product selection within the selected category.
Configure the chosen product to appear in the Cart Carousel on the same page.
4. Progress Bar Section
Develop a sticky progress bar section under the carousel.
The progress bar should offer increasing rewards as more items are added to the carousel.
5. Discount Logic
Evaluate the feasibility of implementing the discount logic using Shopify's built-in discount functionality. If feasible:
Create automatic discount codes within the Shopify admin panel.
Configure the discount codes to trigger discounts based on specified item count thresholds.
Ensure that discounts are correctly applied during the checkout process.
If custom coding using Shopify's API is required:
Write custom code to track the item count and calculate the appropriate discounts.
Integrate the custom code into the theme or add as a separate app, based on the specific requirements and store setup.
Rigorously test the discount logic to ensure accurate calculation and application of discounts.
6. Styling and Integration
Integrate the progress bar section into the desired location beneath the carousel.
Ensure the design is consistent with the overall rebranding.
Make any necessary styling adjustments such as spacing or font types to match design preferences.
7. Subscription API
Understand the process of applying for the Subscription API for public apps.
Understand how to migrate existing customers from third-party subscription apps to the new app using Subscription APIs.
Understand the difference between Selling Plan API, Subscription Contract API, Customer Payment Method API.
Redesign the product subscription app extension.
8. Testing and Deployment
Test all implemented features for bug detection and user experience.
Deploy changes on the live website after successful testing and client approval.
Please note that development estimates may vary depending on the complexity of your website, the level of customization required, and the capabilities of the chosen Shopify APIs. Remember to maintain good communication with your developer to ensure that all project requirements are clearly understood and appropriately addressed.
