Sheet Music Note Converter
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
I'm seeking a skilled developer to create a program that converts sheet music symbols to their corresponding names (e.g., "do", "re#"). The output should be in a text-based format, with the handling of input done through scanned images of the sheet music. The program is required to only convert notes and octaves, excluding other musical symbols.
Ideal skills:
- Experience with image processing in programming
- Ability to develop a user-friendly interface for scanned image upload
No need to have a knowledge of music theory, as this is a simple task of subtitution: symbol of the note => name of the note. And also no need to understand my language (Portuguese), as the names of the notes (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la si) are universally understood.
The program's primary function should be to provide a straightforward way to decipher the notes and octaves from sheet music. The user experience should be intuitive and the program should efficiently and accurately convert the symbols.
I'd like to work with Roberto P, @inidessi, as he already understands the logic behind the output of the program.
