Sharetribe Developer for Forklift Marketplace

Duration: ~4–6 weeks (to MVP launch)
About the Project:
We’re building a UK-based marketplace for forklift sales and rentals — think AutoTrader, but for forklifts. We want to validate fast using Sharetribe and need someone who can get us to a functional MVP.
What You’ll Do:
Set up and customize a Sharetribe Go or Flex marketplace (depending on need)
Configure vendor and customer workflows: listing, filtering, messaging, bookings or inquiries
Integrate basic branding, filters (by serial number, model, etc.), and user profiles
Connect Stripe for payments (if using Flex) or inquiry-based quoting (for Go)
Create clean, mobile-friendly listing pages for forklifts
Work with me (the founder) to refine layout and UX
Optional: Help with launch checklist and basic training
You Should Have:
Proven experience with Sharetribe (Go or Flex)
Comfortable customizing front-end (HTML/CSS, possibly React if Flex)
Familiarity with marketplaces (buy/hire, two-sided platforms)
Eye for clean, usable design
Fluent English and responsive communication
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in B2B marketplaces
Understanding of equipment hire or automotive classifieds
Familiarity with Airtable, Zapier, or simple integrations
