Searchable Price List with user log in
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am looking for a freelancer to help me convert an existing Excel pricelist into a web application.
The existing Excel pricelist allows for selection of products by categories and sub categories. A list of relevant products is then shown with prices, description, code and a calculated discount price. The number of products is about 300. The spreadsheet also allows for products to be found by search.
Due to the limitations of Excel on the web, I now need for some software that will allow me to create a web page that will provide the same functionality. I would also want to add further functionality of allowing users to log in and the discount rate for the products would be associated with the individual user. Number of users would be about 50.
The web page needs to responsive and work on phones as well as desktop.
I could imagine the project being written in Django but I am open to suggestions.
At this stage it wouldn't be necessary to add CRUD functionality for the underlying databases. The numbers are such that they can just be imported rom a spreadsheet and are not likely to change in the near future. However, at a later date this would be a desirable addition.
I consider this project to be fairly straightforward for a knowledgeable programmer and would like a quick turnaround.
