Perl script to update to new perl version.

Once upon a time I wrote an imperfect cgi perl script that worked for twenty years. It is a registration and payment system, consulting a perl formatted database (I daily update) posing HTML questions to format, send and pay a mail order.
I understand it has to be reviewed for two reasons :
- I used "require" with local name to the /cgi-bin directory. It could be a security failure that one could use to intrude.
The whole set of files represents 107 K. The need is urgent. I can mail the script for an estimate (since it is a money related thing I prefer not to attach if for everyone to know the details).
