Ongoing WP website maintenance, development, Woocommerce
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I run a small service-based business helping small nonprofits / NGOs to stay in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
The business has several websites and we are looking to develop a relationship with a developer who can help keep all our sites fully functional, updated and secure.
We are looking to have someone help us on a flat fee basis each month and will require this person to plug into our slack channel to be part of our extended team and have hours of availability to us each week.
Our sites use managed WordPress hosting through Flywheel.
The sites are:
birkenlaw.com
- This site is primarily for new leads to discover the business and contact us. It is mostly static and optimized for SEO. It was rebuilt recently and we simply need to maintain it.
missionguardian.com
- This site is our e-commerce platform and critical to business operations. We use WooCommerce and many of it's add-ons. All customer payments are processed through this site. The business model is subscription based with other items purchased one at a time as needed. Subscribers have access to members only content on the site. 99% uptime of this site is critical.

- This site is to promote Jess Birken as a thought leader for other professionals It is mostly static and does not need much tinkering.
The scope of the work is to monitor the sites for functionality, update plugins, ensure all contact forms are working, resolve any issues on the sites as they are identified, add customizations to the extent your talent allows, and contact service providers to resolve issues which require a ticket (ie: with the host, a plugin developer, etc.)
