I'm looking for a talented web designer to create a modern and sleek website for my literary consultancy. The website needs to be user-friendly, have a modern, professional look with clear navigation and interactive features that enhance user experience.
Key Features:
- A homepage that sets the tone and provides clear navigation
- A Services Section with individual pages for each of our 5 services. Manuscript Assessment/Critique, Developmental Editing, Line Editing, Copy Editing, and Proofreading. Each page should have detailed descriptions and an option to view samples (PDFs that expand but cannot be downloaded).
- An interactive, user-input based Live Pricing Calculation feature that will allow clients to get a quote in real time. Clients should be able to select the level of editing (e.g., extensive or minimal) and the experience level of the editor (Expert: 10+ years, Intermediate: 5+ years, Beginner: 2+ years), which will affect the cost of the service.
- Client Testimonials, with specific testimonials linked to relevant services
- A Blog & Resources Page
- A Contact Form that allows clients to upload up to 10 pages of a word document (2000 words).Contact Form with personalized fields and an option to request an intro call, where clients can select a date from a calendar and propose a time. In the contact form clients should have the option to upload a sample of their manuscript as an attachment (word document only, up to 2000 words).
- Option for Newsletter Subscription.
- Recommendation for hosting platform. I've used Wixx, blogspot and Squarespace in the past and am familiar with each platform. Please recommend your platform of choice and why.
For down the road: The website should be designed to support future functionality where clients can upload manuscripts, editors can edit them on the site, and clients can review the edits and communicate with the editor directly through the platform.
The ideal candidate for this project should have:
- Extensive experience in web design, with a portfolio of modern and sleek designs

- Experience in integrating booking systems and contact forms
