Modern Minimalist Next.js Website Development

We are looking for a talented Next.js Frontend Developer to join our team and build the user interface for our Restaurant Reviews platform. The platform enables restaurant owners to manage their business profiles, menus, and reservations while allowing users to search, review, and interact with restaurants.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and API integration to work seamlessly with our Django backend.

Responsibilities:
Develop a responsive, high-performance frontend using Next.js.
Implement dynamic pages for user authentication, restaurant profiles, menus, table reservations, and reviews.
Integrate the Django REST API with secure JWT authentication.
Build a clean, reusable component-based UI using Tailwind CSS.
Optimize for SEO and performance (using Next.js SSR & ISR).
Implement Google Maps API for geolocation-based restaurant searches.
Develop real-time chat functionality using WebSockets.
Handle file uploads (profile pictures, restaurant images, menu items).
Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Work with designers to bring Figma UI/UX to life.
Collaborate with the backend team to define API structures and improve performance.
Requirements:
✅ English speaking applicants only
✅ 3+ years of experience in React.js/Next.js development.
✅ Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
✅ Experience with Tailwind CSS or Styled Components.
✅ Familiarity with Redux, React Query, or Zustand for state management.
✅ Strong understanding of Next.js SSR, ISR, and static generation.
✅ Hands-on experience in integrating RESTful APIs (Django backend preferred).
✅ Experience with Google Maps API and geolocation-based search.
✅ Basic knowledge of WebSockets for real-time messaging.
✅ Knowledge of JWT authentication and secure login implementation.
✅ Experience with SEO best practices for Next.js applications.
✅ Familiarity with AWS S3 or Cloudinary for media uploads.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with GraphQL (if needed in the future).
Knowledge of Docker & CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
Understanding of Stripe or PayPal for restaurant payment handling.
Prior work on restaurant, booking, or review platforms.
