Project Overview:
We are developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) website focused on fashion, styling, and makeup. The platform will allow fashion artists to create profiles and showcase their work while offering users practical tools to enhance their styling experience.

As part of this MVP, we are seeking an experienced freelancer to develop a lightweight and cost-effective microservice that enables users to search for apparel by color and compare prices and availability across major online retailers.

The freelancer will develop a simple yet functional microservice with the following features:

Color-Based Search:

Users can search for apparel by selecting specific colors or providing color codes (e.g., HEX, RGB).
The service should match user queries with apparel available across partner retailers.
Price Comparison:

Compare prices for the same or similar items across multiple e-commerce platforms.
Display the results in a user-friendly format, highlighting the best deals.
Availability Check:

Show real-time availability of products by integrating with retailer APIs or scraping product data (where APIs are unavailable).

Data Sources and Integrations:

Integration with APIs of popular e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, ASOS, etc.

Efficient Data Presentation:

Return results in a clear, JSON-based format for easy integration with the frontend.
Include sorting by price and basic filters (e.g., size, brand).
Include features like sorting (price, relevance) and filtering (brand, size, ratings).

Required Skills:
Strong experience in backend development and API integrations.
Familiarity with scraping technologies and tools (if necessary).
Knowledge of color recognition and matching algorithms.
Proficiency in working with e-commerce APIs.

To keep costs low and the solution scalable, the microservice should utilize:

Backend: Python (preferred), Node.js, or PHP.
Data Handling: JSON-based processing, with minimal storage requirements.
Deployment: Use free or low-cost cloud platforms like Heroku, AWS Free Tier, or Render.
API Integration: REST-based architecture for simplicity.
