Long-Term WordPress Pro Needed for Site Maintenance & Fixes

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer & Website Manager to maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot our WordPress-based website. The ideal candidate will not only know WordPress inside and out but also bring strong technical, security, and problem-solving skills to keep our website fast, secure, and scalable.

Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain WordPress websites (core, themes, plugins).
• Develop and customize themes, child themes, and plugins when needed.
• Ensure website security, backups, and uptime monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues (plugin conflicts, errors, performance bottlenecks).
• Optimize site performance (speed, caching, CDN, database).
• Manage staging environments and deploy updates safely.
• Handle integrations with APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
• Monitor SEO performance and implement best practices.
• Track analytics with Google Analytics / Search Console.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement content and campaigns.
• Provide documentation of changes and ongoing support.

Required Skills & Knowledge
• WordPress core expertise (themes, plugins, hooks, filters, custom post types).
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with MySQL databases and website hosting environments (cPanel, SSH, DNS).
• Familiarity with React (used in Gutenberg block editor).
• Performance optimization (caching, image optimization, CDN).
• Website security best practices (firewalls, malware removal, SSL).
• SEO fundamentals and integration of analytics tools.
• Git/GitHub for version control.
• Backup and restore procedures.
