Project Description

I need a fully working, easy-to-use Letter Tracking Dashboard for office use. The system is 80% already built — I will provide HTML, Google Apps Script code, and screenshots.

Your Job:

Fix the "Failed to Fetch" error
Make it installable in 1 click on any PC
Generate 3 types of URLs: Viewer, Normal Admin, Master Control Admin
Ask during setup: “How many Normal Admin URLs do you want?”
Allow the Master Admin to generate more Normal Admin URLs later
Save all links in LINKS.txt in the same folder

Current System (You Will Fix & Improve)

Frontend: Single index.html file (JS + CSS included)
Backend: Google Apps Script (Web App) + Google Sheets
Data: Two sheets — Letters (tasks), Config (Team Members, Status List, Admin Keys)
UI: Hindi + English, KPI cards, ageing buckets, table, filters, modals

Already Working Features:

KPI cards: Total, Completed, In Progress, Overdue
Ageing buckets: 0–3 days (green), 4–7 days (yellow), …, more than 30 days (red)
Table columns: Date, Age, Dept, Subject, Team Member, Priority, Status, Final Status, Deadline, Days Left
Add, Edit, Delete via modal
Filters, CSV export, “Manage Officers/Status” (add Team Members and custom Status types)
Test mode (localStorage) works perfectly

Main Problem To Fix

“Failed to Fetch” error when saving data in production mode (TEST_MODE: false).
Data loads fine, but add, edit, and delete actions fail.

Must-Have Requirements

One-Click Setup on Any Windows PC (Admin Mode)

Any user must set up the full admin dashboard in under 5 minutes.

Steps:

Download Dashboard_Setup.zip

Extract the folder

Double-click SETUP_ADMIN.bat

Browser opens → Google login → Allow access

Prompt: “How many Normal Admin URLs do you want to generate?”

System automatically generates and saves these URLs in LINKS.txt:

Viewer URL: https://script.google.com/.../exec?mode=view

Admin URL 1: https://script.google.com/.../exec?mode=admin&key=abc123

Admin URL 2: https://script.google.com/.../exec?mode=admin&key=def456

Master Admin URL: https://script.google.com/.../exec?mode=master&key=master999

Done. Admin can edit anytime.
No coding, no Apps Script editor, no manual deployment required.

Three Permanent URLs (Auto-Generated)

Viewer URL:
Read-only, can view dashboard, filter, and refresh. No edit buttons.

Normal Admin URL:
Can view + edit only the Status column (Information Requested, Under Review, Forwarded to Officer, Blocked, Submitted to JC 07, Project Blocked, Officer Transferred, etc.)

Master Control Admin URL:
Full control: Status, Final Status, Add/Edit/Delete letters, Manage Officers/Status, Generate more Normal Admin URLs.

Additional Rules:

One common Viewer URL for 100+ users
Multiple Normal Admin URLs (as requested during setup)
Master Admin can generate more Normal Admin URLs later
All URLs saved in LINKS.txt during setup and during new link generation
URLs never expire
Works on Chrome, Edge, and mobile
Data syncs instantly (on refresh or auto-refresh every 60 seconds)
Viewers and Normal Admins never see unauthorized buttons or fields

Data Columns and Access Control

Status column — Editable by Normal Admin + Master Admin
Workflow statuses: Information Requested, Under Review, Forwarded, Blocked, Project Blocked, Officer Transferred, etc.

Final Status column — Editable only by Master Admin
Final statuses: In Process or Completed

Add/Delete Letter — Master Admin only
Full CRUD access

Manage Officers and Status (Master Admin Only)

Modal with two tabs:

Team Members — Add/Edit officers

Status List — Add new statuses (Project Blocked, Officer Transferred, On Hold, etc.)

All custom statuses must appear in the Status dropdown for Normal + Master Admins.
Stored in Config sheet and auto-refreshed on save.

Default statuses: Information Requested, Under Review, Forwarded to Officer, Blocked, Submitted to JC 07

Security

Only Master Admin URL allows full changes
Normal Admin URLs allow only Status updates
Viewer URL safe for large audiences
Google Sheet remains private
No login system — URL-based access control using unique keys
Keys stored in Config sheet (random 6-character for Normal Admins, fixed for Master Admin)
