Job for anyone: Subtitle Formatting for language course

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and linguistically-aware assistant to help us format subtitles for short language learning stories. You’ll be working with existing subtitles (.srt) and pre-translated text in German. Your job is to insert the German translation line-by-line into the corresponding timestamps, and mark language “chunks” in each subtitle using basic HTML tags.

***About the Course***

The subtitles are for a storytelling-based language course by Sprachheld, a platform for independent language learners in the German-speaking world.

Each course contains 30 short audio-based stories (1–3 minutes each), subtitled for immersive learning. We provide:

-Italian/Spanish/English/French original subtitles (.srt)
-German translations of each story
-pre marked language chunks

Your job is to turn this into a clean, learner-friendly bilingual subtitle file.

***What You'll Do***

- Take an existing .srt subtitle file (with timestamps)
- Insert the matching German translation line-by-line
- Bold key language chunks (we will provide them)
- Preserve exact subtitle timing and structure
- Deliver final .srt file

Preferably, you know how to use AI to make this process automated, quick and efficient!

***Requirements***

- No language fluency needed but basic understanding is advised
- Basic understanding of how subtitle files (.srt) work
- Comfort using AI tools
- Good formatting discipline and attention to detail
