Integrate Stripe Payment System with Wallet and Project Funding for Workreap Theme on WordPress
Notice: Workreap theme offers wallet, payout features, and more. We're simply looking to synchronize Stripe "collect payment and pay out" to synchronize to said features. Any alterations will be made in the Child-Theme.
Project Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer with experience in Stripe and WordPress, specifically with the Workreap theme, to implement a customized payment workflow on our freelance marketplace platform. Here’s a detailed outline of the required payment functionalities:
Key Requirements:
Stripe Integration with Wallet System:
Client Wallet Funding (Services): Clients should have the option to fund their wallet through Stripe. Funds added to the wallet will be held by UpTaskPro, through stripe, for future project or service payments.
Credit Usage (Services): When a client hires a Task Pro (freelancer), they will have the option to either use credits from their wallet or proceed directly to checkout to pay for the service.
Redirect to Checkout: If the client chooses to fund their wallet, they should be redirected to checkout to add funds. These funds will remain in their wallet for any future service or project payments.
Project and Milestone Payments:
Fixed-Rate and Hourly Projects: Upon hiring a Task Pro, clients should be redirected to checkout to pay for the project. UpTaskPro will hold these funds until the project is completed or milestones are marked as completed.
Milestone Payments: For fixed-rate projects with milestones, clients should be able to fund each milestone individually. When a milestone is reached, funds are released to the Task Pro upon client approval.
Stripe Integration for Secure Transactions:
Payment Holding: Funds sent to UpTaskPro for projects and milestones should be securely held until completion, at which point they will be released to the Task Pro.
Service Fees:
-Client Fees: Add a 5% service fee to the total project cost, applied at checkout.
-Task Pro Fees: Deduct a 10% service fee from Task Pros’ earnings when a project is completed.
Task Pro Dashboard Integration:
Integrate with Workreap’s dashboard to allow Task Pros to view:
Sync Stripe transactions with the dashboard to reflect real-time balances and transaction history.
Total income
Pending income
Available cash
Withdrawal requests
Payout System for Task Pros:
Set up Stripe to handle payouts to Task Pros after service completion, minus the 10% service fee.
Enable scheduled or on-demand payouts, ensuring that Task Pros receive their earnings promptly.
Compliance & Security:
-Ensure compliance with Stripe’s security standards, including secure handling of wallet credits, direct payments, and dispute resolutions.
-Provide detailed documentation of all implemented code and configurations for future reference.
Skills Needed:
Stripe API Expertise: Proficiency in Stripe’s Connect features, including "Separate charges and transfers" or "Destination charges," to manage marketplace transactions.
WordPress & Workreap Theme Knowledge: Familiarity with the Workreap theme’s built-in wallet, transaction tracking, and payout features is a plus.
PHP, HTML, JavaScript (or similar technologies): Capability to customize payment workflows, integrate Stripe with dashboards, and synchronize wallet balances across the platform.
Additional Notes:
Please provide documentation of code changes and guidance for platform compliance and security.
Experience with similar Stripe wallet integrations on WordPress-based marketplaces is highly preferred.
