Full Stack Developer for Travel eCommerce Website

Job ID: 39499065

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

We’re seeking a skilled full stack developer to help rebuild and clean up the backend and frontend of a travel eCommerce website. The frontend is built in Next.js and the backend in Laravel.

The current site has functional issues—such as buggy filters, calendar inputs, and bloated logic—that need to be cleaned up or rebuilt. UX improvements will be provided via a designer you will collaborate with.

Scope:

- Fix multiple critical bugs (frontend/backend - mostly frontend (list available)

- Implement UI improvements focused on CTAs and conversion optimization

- Build new search interface, and also Google Maps integration

- General QA and performance optimization

Context:

Site is live, stable, functional, and ranking well on Google; we switched from drupal 7 to laravel / next.js 2 months ago. The site is bluewaterdivetravel.com

Previous teams have worked on it - codebase is complex but functional

We hired a designer to do a slight redesign (let's call it a polishing) and adding a couple of specific features, not a full redesign

The Figma designs are partially complete, and should be done in 3-4 weeks

Some sections may benefit from refactoring during bug fixes

Requirements:

Fixed-price quote for entire project with milestone breakdown

Experience taking over existing codebases

Available to start bug fixes within 2 weeks, design implementation to follow
