Frontend developer needed for B2B startup- partial equity/partial cash compensation
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Greetings,
We've listed five key project questions and our answers to them below. Thanks for taking a few moments to get familiar with us!
Who are we?
We are a B2B, profile-based SaaS startup offering a disruptive marketing solution to ancillary businesses in the cannabis industry in the United States. (Ancillary refers to non-plant-touching businesses such as packaging, security, consulting, legal services, grow supplies, software, and more.)
What’s so disruptive about our startup?
Imagine being able to access the benefits of a trade show—only all the time, anywhere, and for a lot less money. LeafyLoop aims to do to trade shows what dating apps did to meeting people in bars. Sure, you can still do it the old-fashioned way, but it’s a lot more work. With this spirit of disruption, our mission is to simplify, streamline, and elevate the interaction between those seeking and those providing ancillary products & services. Seekers use LeafyLoop to vet providers. Providers use LeafyLoop to advertise to seekers. And everyone uses LeafyLoop to network and stay relevant.
Who's on our team?
Senior UI / UX Designer
Senior Backend Developer
Senior QA Engeener
CPO / Co-founder
CEO / Co-founder
Where are we in development?
Our technical team is hard at work on an MVP, expected to be ready by the end of December. The backend is being built in Java Spring, version 8, and the front end can be done in any Java-based framework. The backend is 95% complete and the UI is 75% complete.
What are we looking for?
Our goal is to find a front-end developer who can complement our startup’s growing team. Compensation will be partial equity and partial cash payment ($1000+ for the cash payment portion and equity to be discussed). We are looking for a developer who will not only provide front-end services but also partner with us in the early stages of our startup. If you are looking for compensation in the form of 100% cash payment, we are not a match for you. Professional level English fluency is REQUIRED. A developer based in the US or Europe is preferred.
If this project interests you, we would appreciate the opportunity to share our pitch deck, walk you through design files, and discuss a potential partnership.
