Key Tasks:
Audit Current Site Performance: Perform a comprehensive audit to identify the main issues affecting page speed, such as large image files, unused CSS/JavaScript, third-party scripts, and Shopify theme optimization.
Image Optimization: Compress and optimize images across the store without losing quality, including possible implementation of lazy loading for off-screen images.
Code Minification and Optimization: Minify CSS, JavaScript, and HTML files where applicable. Remove unused CSS and JavaScript, focusing on critical rendering paths to ensure faster load times.
App and Plugin Optimization: Review all installed Shopify apps to identify any that are not essential or causing significant performance issues. Provide recommendations on which apps can be disabled or replaced.
