Custom WordPress Site Build

I’m ready to move from ideas on paper to a fully-functioning, custom-designed WordPress website that looks sharp on every screen and is simple for me to update going forward. The core of the job is end-to-end: planning the site architecture with me, translating the visual style into a lightweight, responsive theme, and configuring WordPress so pages load fast and security best practices are in place.

Once the design is approved, I’ll need you to handle theme build, necessary plugins, on-page SEO fundamentals and a straightforward way for me to add future content without touching code. I’m starting with a blank slate, so you’ll have creative freedom as long as the final result is clean, professional and easy to navigate.

Please include a link to two or three custom WordPress sites you built yourself, note the tools or frameworks you prefer (e.g. Figma, Elementor, Gutenberg blocks, or pure PHP/SCSS), and outline your usual hand-off documentation or video walkthrough.

Deliverables will be:
• Custom responsive WordPress theme
• Initial set of pages laid out and populated with placeholder text/images
• Basic optimisation: caching, image compression, SEO-friendly permalinks
• A quick reference guide or short screen-recording showing me how to edit content
