Creative Visual and HTML Developer for Emails
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Email Designer + HTML Developer Needed — 3x Mobile-Responsive Branded Emailers for Kamero.ai
About Us
We're Kamero.ai, a photo-sharing and camera app startup. We're running 3 email marketing campaigns and need a skilled email designer and developer — someone who can think creatively, own the visual concept, and then build it into a clean, production-ready HTML file.
What We Need
We're looking for someone who can do both — design and code. Not just a developer who needs a pixel-perfect Figma file handed to them, and not just a designer who stops at mockups. We need a creative professional who can take our content brief and brand guidelines, conceptualize the email layout and visual structure, tell us exactly what graphic assets they need from our in-house designer, and then build the final coded emailer once those assets are in hand.
The Ideal Workflow We're Looking For
We want someone who works like this: you review our content brief and brand guidelines, you propose a wireframe or visual concept for each emailer, you give us a clear list of exactly what graphic assets, hero images, illustrations, or buttons you need designed, our in-house designer produces those assets and shares them with you as transparent PNGs, and you then finalize and code the complete, mobile-responsive HTML emailer.
This is a collaborative process and we're very responsive — asset turnaround from our side will be fast once you give us a clear spec.
The 3 Emailers — Full Details
All content including copy, subject lines, CTAs, and layout guidance for all 3 campaigns are pre-written and documented in our brief. Each emailer will share consistent brand styling, so once the visual language is established for the first, the remaining two should follow efficiently.
What We'll Provide From Day 1
Complete Email Content Brief with copy, subject lines, CTAs, and layout notes for all 3 emailers
Kamero Brand Guidelines (colors, typography, logo, tone of voice)
Quick turnaround on any graphic assets you spec out for us
Your Scope of Work
Review the brief and brand guidelines thoroughly
Propose a wireframe or visual layout concept for each of the 3 emailers
Provide a clear asset list — hero images, icons, buttons, illustrations — so our designer can produce them
Once assets are received, build the final HTML emailers with clean, production-ready code
Ensure full mobile responsiveness and compatibility across major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
Deliver final HTML files ready to upload and deploy
Deliverables
Wireframes or visual concepts for all 3 emailers (can be rough but must be clear)
Asset specification list for each emailer
3x final mobile-responsive HTML files, cross-client tested
Source or project files so we can make minor edits independently
Budget
Our budget is approximately $100–150 USD for the full batch of 3 emailers, inclusive of the conceptualization, wireframing, and final coded HTML. Given that all 3 emailers are part of a single campaign with consistent branding and a shared design system, we expect this to be efficient once the visual language is established for the first emailer. We're a bootstrapped startup and if the quality is strong, this becomes an ongoing relationship with more campaigns ahead.
To Apply, Please Share:
Portfolio — 2 to 3 examples of emailers you've designed and coded, ideally for app, tech, or SaaS brands
Your Quote — A bundle price for all 3 emailers covering concept, wireframe, and final HTML
Your Workflow — Briefly describe how you approach an email project from brief to final file, especially how you handle the asset handoff process
Timeline — Estimated delivery for all 3 emailers assuming a 1–2 day asset turnaround from our side
Who Will Stand Out
Someone who has genuinely designed and coded emailers — not just used drag-and-drop builders — and who can demonstrate visual thinking alongside technical execution. If your portfolio shows app or SaaS emailers with strong layout sense and clean code, you'll immediately stand out. We're not looking for the cheapest option; we're looking for the right creative partner for the long term.
A detailed content brief with copy, subject lines, and layout guidance, along with our Brand Guidelines, will be shared with shortlisted applicants.
