Create Beginner API PDF Docs

Job ID: 40320866

Budget: £18 – £36 GBP

I have a small public-facing API that still lacks clear, beginner-friendly documentation. I’d like a concise PDF guide that walks new developers through each available endpoint and method, then explains the authentication flow step by step. The tone should remain simple and welcoming, yet technically accurate so that someone with only basic REST knowledge can get up and running quickly.

You will receive direct access to the current Postman collection and a brief text outline. From there, your task is to:

• Map every endpoint with its HTTP method, required parameters, sample request and sample response.
• Describe the authentication process, including how to obtain a token and attach it to subsequent calls.
• Organise everything logically, add code snippets where helpful, and format the final output as a polished PDF (Markdown or HTML can be intermediary, but I need the finished file ready for distribution).

Acceptance criteria
1. All endpoints included, verified against the Postman collection.
2. Authentication section tested and accurate.
3. Final PDF under 15 pages, clean layout, table of contents, and fully searchable text.

Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar API documentation generators will make the job easier, but I’m open to any workflow as long as the deliverable meets the criteria above and is easy for non-experts to follow.
