I am looking for a proficient web developer to create an online market exchange website catering specifically to businesses. The site should function as a market exchange where sellers can offer their products and buyers can buy their products. As it will be for larger commodities trading businesses, no funds will be exchanged through the website, however customers can bid on parties products.
Key features required for the platform include:
- A comprehensive list of commodities, which customers can offer / sell their products on: This should be simple and allow buyers the opportunity to make offers on commodities which re available.
- A smooth way to offer and bid on commodities: updating supplier immediately of the offer, allowing them to negotiate to close the business.
- Incorporation of a secure way to forward notifications and contracts to buyers and sellers. Providing up to date information to both buyers and sellers.
- Offers on commodities, accepted orders, must be updated on the platform live time. Visible for all users to see.
Ideal candidates should have prior experience building online market places, specifically with features mentioned above. A strong foundation in web development using modern frameworks, a good understanding of UX/UI principles, and experience integrating secure communication. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento will be a plus.
