Coding HTML Website and convert Template to a WodPress Theme

Introduction
I am looking for a (senior) web developer to help me build a website. You will be responsible for the development and functionality of a small-sized company website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, etc.
What you will do: The Challenge
• Convert a not pixel perfect XD Design to HTML Template and create a WordPress theme
• Use state of the art technique with SASS/SCSS, partials, mixins, variables, CSS3, images for retina displays etc.
• Mobile First! The design includes mobile, tablet and desktop view
• Watch out for page speed
• Custom CSS and HTML no Framework like bootstrap or Tailwind. You're welcome to use the naming scheme from bootstrap since I'm familiar with this Framework
• Logical, intelligent and structured naming and use of attributes to reduce code and make maintaining code easier
• Make a custom lightbox
• Add some little animations/transitions and other tweaks like smooth scroll to the site to complete the luxury feeling this design provide
• Fonts have to be embedded since using Google Fonts is not compatible with GDPR. The same applies to scripts
• Use of Choices.js for filter function
• Perform cross browser testing to ensure proper page functionality

• A passionate developer with 4+ years of experience in a professional environment
• Attention to clean, efficient coding techniques
• Strong background in web design and development with high regard for usability and maintaining web standards
• Expert in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SCSS or other CSS preprocessors
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Gulp or Grunt
• Understanding of Mobile First Responsive design concepts
• Understanding of page speed optimization best practices
• A strong ability to troubleshoot functional and layout issues
• Self-driven, attention to detail, organized
• Naturally curious and not afraid to speak up, ask questions or suggest ideas
• Proficient knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Choices.js
• Comfortable in working with content management system WordPress
• Knowledge in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (XD)
• Comfortable delivering high-quality work with quick turnaround times
• Sophisticated problem-solving skills
