Change frontend wordpress plugin
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are looking for someone to help us edit the frontend of a wordpress plugin. The site is an ecommerce made with Woocommerce, on which we have installed the plugin called Lumise. This plugin allows the creation of a custom design that is applied on products that we have for sale.
What we need is to add some functionality to this plugin, specifically we would need to be able to create for the same product multiple print areas. If we take a tshirt as an example this means that the user will be able to choose the design to be printed on the front, back and shoulders. Currently it is already possible to create multiple areas to create multiple designs for each product, but we need to link these areas to the product images. This is because at each image a mockup is generated with the preview of the product with the design chosen by the customer.
On the editor page, the plugin uses jquery for functionality and the fabricjs library to manage the canvas where the user can create the design.
The features that the changes must have are:
- Link print area to matching images (the design area of the back of a tshirt must be matched to the photo with the back of the tshirt)
- Automatic image selection when area is changed (when an area is selected, the previously linked photo must be shown)
- Mockup generation (it is generated from backend, we just need to send the correct information such as design and image)
- Price change based on the number of filled areas (in case more areas are printed the price increases, this change must be entered in the object with order information created by lumise)
Our intention is to make this first collaboration a long-term collaboration since we have many other projects to be developed. Our initial budget is 400€ per month, a budget that can go up as the various projects are launched.
Requirements
- Punctuality in delivery
- Good communication
- Participation in the project by proposing solutions or new ideas
Main Technical Requirements
- HTML and CSS
- Javascript and Jquery
Additional Technical Requirements
- PHP and Wordpress
