We require assistance and consulting from a CKEditor5 expert for development of our plugin. For development of our open source AI Assistant plugin for CKEditor5 we are running into constant problems with HTML upcasting and cursor position while streaming HTML content from AI chat endpoints.
We are pulling our hair out switching between writer.insert() and model.insert(content) as each time we switch these in a scenario we gain HTML compliance but loose the correct cursor position, or get a side-effect with nested paragraphs.
We need someone truly experience with CKEditor's DocumentFragment, model, and view API's to settle the score. Our goal is that streamed HTML or plaintext entered into the editor has the same quality as HTML copy-pasted into the editor. We're looking towards the ckeditor5-clipboard plugin for inspiration but fail to implement it's example reliably.
