Build WordPress Website for Online Psychiatry Practice (PracticeBetter EHR Workflow)
Budget: $1,000 – $2,500 USD
I am ready to launch a calm, professional website for my solo psychiatric practice on WordPress.org. I am seeking a developer who understands how visual tone, clarity, and simplicity help reassure patients.
I do not want custom code. A clean, reliable theme that is easy to maintain and edit over time is essential.
Scope of Work
Build a Home, About, Services, Contact, and Blog/Articles section
Keep navigation simple so visitors immediately understand what is offered
Place a high-visibility call-to-action button on every page that opens my PracticeBetter EHR link for:
Intake forms
Consent forms
Appointment requests
This button is the heart of the site and should stand out clearly without clashing with a healthcare-appropriate, calming design.
Configure basic SEO setup:
Fast loading
Proper heading structure
Meta titles and descriptions
Ensure the site adapts perfectly on mobile and tablet devices
PracticeBetter Workflow (Important)
The website will not collect patient health information
All forms, consents, and scheduling occur inside PracticeBetter
The website’s role is to clearly and securely direct patients to the PracticeBetter portal
Experience linking to external EHR or scheduling systems is strongly preferred.
Post-Launch Support
Once the site is live, I need to be able to manage it myself. Please provide:
One live walkthrough session (screen share is fine) showing how to:
Edit text
Add blog posts
Upload PDFs or patient handouts
A short written cheat sheet for future reference
I am intentionally avoiding ongoing monthly developer retainers.
Deliverables
Fully functional WordPress.org website using a minimalist, professional theme
Five core pages plus a searchable blog area
PracticeBetter EHR link integrated as the primary call-to-action
Mobile responsiveness and on-page SEO setup
One live tutorial session + written editing guide
Nice to Have
Prior experience building websites for medical or mental health practices
Ability to share 1–3 relevant examples
Clear communication and patience explaining edits and workflows
If you’ve built sites for medical or mental-health practices before and can point me to examples, even better.
Let’s get this site up quickly, keep it easy for patients to navigate, and leave me with the freedom to manage content in-house.My goal is to launch a site that feels calm, trustworthy, and easy for patients to navigate — while giving me full control to manage content in-house over time.
