Build Covid-19 Website Feature

This feature would be on a page accessible to the employee after they sign into their PrevWorks account. On this page an bunch of tiny people would be displayed in the center. On the right side would some controls for the simulation such as population size, vaccination rate of population, masking rate of population, initial infected population size, and wether the population is social distancing. The user would be able to set these controls to whatever they want and then hit a button to run the simulation. When the simulation is running the user would be able to see the tiny people in the center turn red as they become infected. After the simulation has finished running it would tell the user if the entire population became infected (and how long it took) or if the infection died out.

The point of this simulation would be to show people with vaccine hesitancy that in populations that are highly vaccinated and following other covid safety precautions the rate at which the virus spreads is much lower than that of unvaccinated population. By demonstrating this with a simulation the user will hopefully be able to come to these conclusions themselves by playing with the simulation and so it will feel less like they are just being told what to think.

For the data to build the simulation we will use various medical records databases such as the WHO and CDC.
