BigCommerce Theme Development

I am looking for someone to help me pull the category image into an icon that gets set next to each child category in the navigation bar. This should also be set to hover and magnify like the product page has. I believe this should be added to the Navigation-List.html file, just not sure how exactly to setup. I am hoping to pull the category image for each menu item dynamically. See attached picture to have an idea of what I am looking for. Hovering over the icon should magnify like it does on the product page (just not as big).

You should be very familiar with BigCommerce platform/theme editing.
