BigCommerce Create Custom Widgets
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Have an existing BigCommerce site with a home page featuring seven different content types.
Currently the content is being display as HTML blocks, but want to replace each of these with custom widgets so that the client can control content within each block easily.
The existing 'Carousel' widget is good example, and will need to create similar widgets to achieve the following output:
1. Slider - migrate existing slide content to Carousel widget & style to match
2. Large Cards - create a widget to showcase text, image, button, link at 50% width, styled to match existing
3. Image Banner - migrate existing image banner into Image widget
4. Featured Products - allow admin to search/add certain product listings to be featured in widget, styled to match
5. Featured Categories - allow admin to add categories to be featured in widget, using Category Image field and styled to match
6. Featured Blogs - allow admin to search/add blog items to be featured in widget, styled to match
7. Large Banner - create a Large Banner widget allowing admin to edit image/title/button/link/text, styled to match
Also need to update the footer by replacing all <h3> tags with <span> tags instead keeping the font style intact.
PDF is attached with screenshots and highlights, seeking experienced BigCommerce developer who has created custom widgets previously. Will create on staging first, test, then migrate to live once ready...
