Realistic Character Modeling in Houdini
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a Houdini-savvy artist to build fully detailed, production-ready realistic characters. The job is strictly 3D modeling: sculpting, retopology and UVs inside Houdini, keeping the node network tidy so I can tweak it later.
To be clear, I am not after VFX setups or animation rigs right now—just clean, high-resolution models that will slot into an existing pipeline. Real-world proportions and believable anatomy are essential, while mesh density must stay efficient for subdivision and look-dev downstream.
Deliverables
• Houdini .hip file with non-destructive node tree
• Final geometry in .bgeo and FBX with named UDIM UVs
• Separate displacement / normal maps (16-bit EXR)
• Brief note on any custom HDA tools used
If this sounds like your comfort zone in Houdini, let’s talk timing and milestones so we can get the first character signed off quickly.
