fruit methods. The engineer will provide recommendations on mango varieties, assess climate
and water resources, analyze soil quality, and evaluate wind conditions. Additionally, the
engineer will estimate the potential mango yield for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th years assuming
best practices are followed.
Scope of Work:
1. Travel Arrangements:
o Flight tickets, accommodation, and local transport will be provided by the
client.
o Coordinate travel itinerary with the client’s logistics team.
2. Field Survey:
o Conduct a comprehensive on-site evaluation of the 12-hectare land parcel.
o Assess the suitability of the climate for mango cultivation.
o Evaluate water resources, including the on-site stream and potential for
irrigation pond development.
o Analyze soil quality through sampling and recommend any additional soil
testing if necessary.
o Assess wind conditions and their impact on the espalier wall of fruit method.
o Identify suitable mango varieties for the specific environmental conditions of
the site.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Compile and analyze data collected during the field survey.
o Provide a detailed report evaluating the land parcel’s suitability for mango
farming.
o Recommend mango varieties that are best suited for the local climate and soil
conditions.
o Estimate potential mango yield for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th years assuming
best practices are followed.
4. Soil Analysis and Testing:
o Conduct or coordinate additional soil analysis and other testing as needed.
o Expenses for these tests will be covered by the client upon approval.
