Passive House Design for sloped site
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Looking for a architect with passive solar design experience to do some design work for a cabin build on a sloped building site in colorado.
Requirements
1) site has an adjacent power line and neighbors driveway, need to factor this into design
2) design will encompass house, garage, and connecting retaining wall
3) south face will have clerestory windows for passive ventilation in summer and solar heat gain in winter against thermal mass wall
4) resulting structure will have the look of a cabin with high thermal efficiency
5) snow load is very high in this area and should be part of design
