Casual Comfort Home Design Overhaul

Job ID: 40159296

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I just purchased for retirement home—the kitchen, dining and living room together, 3-bedroom,, 1 master, 1 guest, 1guest/office/ craft room, and a small loft library, small laundry and out door patio—so they feel cohesive, welcoming, and above all casually comfortable. Decorating is the priority, but I’ll gladly weave in organization tricks and smart furniture selections where they make sense.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A complete design concept for each room that captures an easy-going, “kick-off-your-shoes” vibe rather than anything overly formal.
• Guidance on paint and wallpaper choices, including exact product names, finishes, and where to place them.
• Furniture and décor recommendations with links or SKU numbers, balancing comfort, durability, and style.
• Thoughtful room layouts that consider traffic flow, focal points, and storage—especially important in the loft library.
• Optional add-ons such as modern, traditional, or eclectic touches are fine if they serve the overall casual vision.

Please package your ideas into clear mood boards or slides, floor-plan sketches (hand-drawn is fine if neat), and a concise shopping list. If you regularly use tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, or Canva, mention it; files that let me visualize scale will help me commit to purchases faster.

Acceptance criteria
1. A distinct concept board for each room, delivered as PDF or PNG.
2. Color palette sheet with manufacturer codes for every wall treatment.
3. Annotated furniture plan showing dimensions and placement.
4. Sourcing list with live links and at least one in-stock alternative per big-ticket item.

Once I approve the plans I’ll handle ordering and installation; I simply need a designer’s eye and a solid roadmap. Send a brief note sharing similar projects and your estimated timeline, and we can get started right away.
Lastly, the house is brand new and empty. All appliances were included.
