One-Click TV Remote Setup
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
My LED/LCD television still takes two or three separate button presses before everything is ready to watch. I’d like the entire chain—TV plus the attached sound system—to wake up together with a single press on my existing cable/satellite remote.
Here’s what I need:
• Program or map the cable/satellite remote so the power button (or another convenient key) simultaneously turns on the TV and the sound system, selecting the correct input.
• Disable any redundant start-up screens or settings that interrupt the one-click flow.
• Verify volume control passes to the sound system automatically.
• Show me, in a brief step-by-step note or live walkthrough, how to restore the configuration if the remote is ever reset.
