Homebridge or Hubitat Lutron Pico Apple HomeKit Integration

Job ID: 39847552

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m ready to bring my Lutron Pico remotes fully into Apple Home for reliable lighting control and need an expert who has already been down this path with either Homebridge or Hubitat.

Current environment
• Apple Home is my primary interface.
• A functioning Homebridge server and a Hubitat hub are both online and available.
• The Lutron Bridge and Pico remotes are paired and working inside the native Lutron system, but they can’t yet trigger non Lutron HomeKit scenes or devices.

What I want done now
1. Configure the chosen platform so every Pico button appears in Apple Home as a responsive switch that can run HomeKit automations.
2. Walk me through creating a sample lighting scene triggered by a Pico remote, confirming state feedback in Home, and documenting the exact plug-ins/drivers and steps so I can replicate later.

Acceptance criteria
• All Pico remotes visible and controllable in the Apple Home app.
• Button presses reliably trigger a HomeKit lighting scene with sub-second latency.

Future scope
Once the Pico remotes are solid, I have a few other devices waiting for integration—nothing for you to tackle now, but I’d like to keep the door open for follow-on work.

If you’ve integrated Pico remotes with HomeKit before—even better if you used both Homebridge and Hubitat—let’s get this wrapped up.
