Help with Home Assistant configuration for multi user geofence
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m trying to automate my alarm system and a few cameras. The idea being to geofence a 1 mile radius.
Two people reside at the house. Once both people leave the radius (our phones are not within 1 mile) the alarm is set to away, and the Leviton plugs in room “interior cameras” are turned on.
When either person's phone is within the geofence, the alarm and “interior cameras” room are set to off.
I ran across this video and decided I’d try home assistant to accomplish the task. I set up a Raspberry PI with home assistant but since the new version is different than the version used in the video link, I’m having trouble.

My alarm is a ring alarm and I’m using Ring-MQTT with video streaming along with Mosquitto broker from the add-on store.
