Project: ESP32-S3 8 Channel Smart Home Switch PCB

I need a compact smart home switch PCB similar to commercial retrofit smart switch modules.

Purpose:
Replace my current ESP + SSR relay setup with a smaller custom PCB.

Main Input:
- 230V AC input
- Designed for Indian home electrical system
- 24/7 continuous operation

Controller:
- ESP32-S3 WiFi module
- Firmware will be custom (MQTT based)
- Keep UART programming header for flashing firmware
- Keep EN/BOOT buttons if required
- ESP antenna area should be clear for good WiFi signal

Power:
- Compact isolated AC to DC power supply
- 5V supply for outputs
- 3.3V regulator for ESP32
- Do NOT use capacitive dropper power supply

Outputs:
Total 8 controllable AC outputs:

- 6 channels:
Use optically isolated TRIAC switching
Example:
MOC3063 optotriac + BTA06/BT136 triac
For LED lights and normal lighting loads

- 2 channels:
Use mechanical relays
For fan/socket/heavier loads

Inputs:
- Support 8 physical wall switches
- Use ESP GPIO directly or MCP23017/PCF8574 I2C expander
- Provide connector:
8 switch signal pins + 1 common GND pin
- Use pull-up input design

Extra:
- IR receiver input header
- Spare I2C header if possible
- Status LED
- Reset option

Protection:
- Fuse on AC input
- MOV surge protection
- Proper isolation between AC and low voltage side
- Safe creepage/clearance for 230V AC
- Snubber circuit for TRIAC outputs if required
- Prevent LED flickering/ghost glow

PCB:
- Make size as small as possible
- Target: around 80mm × 50mm or smaller if possible
- Should fit inside Indian modular switch box
- Prefer 2 layer PCB to reduce cost
